Your mission will be to provide highly competitive analog CAD and layout solutions according to our projects requirements, while maximizing design/methodology reusability among projects and respecting our time and quality constraints. Moreover, the execution and support of design and layout engineering activities across a wide range of projects are also part of the mission.
The successful candidate will have shared responsibilities between the tasks related to 1) maintenance of EDA front-end analog design environment and 2) execution of layout tasks:
• Manage EDA front-end analog (Cadence environment + Mentor : Eldo simulation & Calibre parasitic extraction) activities, including installation, libraries, customization, automation for designer efficiency, validation, update and support.
• Provide support in the CAD licenses management, in the EDA digital flow as well as in the mixed-signal design flow definition, test and maintenance
• Be in charge of IC layout, including acceptance for integration and tape-out. Actively participate in projects by supporting project managers and designers in the layout task definition and execution.
• Maintain the IC layout expertise and state of the art techniques for very advances CMOS nodes and foundries, including mastering of process features/options.
You have a Bachelor/Master in Electrical Engineering and possess at least 3 years of industrial experience in analog IC layout; experience in advanced CMOS processes, RF layout and in linux would be a plus. CAD tools (including Cadence and Mentor) as well as good programming skills in scripting languages are required to be successful in this role. Curious, autonomous and hands-on, you’re motivated in playing a key role in the development of innovative solutions and have the ability to adapt to new situations. Finally, you are recognized as a good team player and possess strong communication skills (oral and written) in both French and English, which enable you to easily maintain good relationship with your colleagues and partners. German would be an asset.
